It seems only right to start this blog with an introduction:
We've always dreamed of traveling to far-off destinations, but unless we win the lottery some day soon, such exotic destinations may have to wait. As J would say "we do the best with what we have".
So, each weekend (provided J isn't distracted by Packers football) we hop in our little car and go exploring, me with my camera, and J with his extraordinary enthusiasm. Sometimes these journeys lead to great hikes and multi-mile treks. Some times they find us meandering through a garden or museum. And other times, the journey is just a mile or two walk to a new or favorite restaurant. Either way, the goal is to go out into the world and experience something new. And we'd love to share what we've learned and seen with you!
With this blog, we hope to share our adventures - our favorite places, our photos, and our fun!
